Mycelia Studio is a creative sanctuary and incubator space dedicated to making art accessible to all. Rooted in the ethos of mutual support and creative abundance, we provide a welcoming environment for low-income and emerging artists to explore, create, and connect. Our studio offers affordable workspace, community resources, and opportunities for collaboration, ensuring that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of artistic expression. Whether you’re looking for a place to paint, experiment, or grow your creative practice, Mycelia Studio is a home for artists who believe in the power of shared space and collective creativity.
This studio has seen many faces since her debut renovation process, each transformation reflecting the evolving creative energy within. As I continue to grow and move with the currents of life, the spaces I cultivate naturally shift alongside me. Transitioning Mycelia Studio into a dedicated art studio and incubator feels deeply aligned—an expansion of intention that invites more creativity, accessibility, and community connection. I’m excited to see how this next chapter unfolds, shaping the space into a thriving hub for artists to create, collaborate, and share.
The space includes:
- 24/7 access via PIN code
- Bathrooms available on unit floor
- Elevator accessible
- Off street parking
- Utilities included
- Non-consumable art tools: Sewing machine, jewelry making, wood carving, wood burning, embroidery, stamp making, crochet, hand sewing, etc.
- Storage closet (~60 sq ft)
- Art Storage (~60 sq ft)
- Main studio (~160 sq ft): Has an IKEA Norden table that expands to 5′, 3′ or 1′ to suit different set ups.
I am looking for two additional studio mates to share this space with! Rent would be $200/month and we would use a shared calendar to navigate the space. Curious if the Mycelia Studio is the right fit for you? Book a tour today and experience the magic of our unique space firsthand!

Jade Mycelia

Hello! My name is Jade, and I am the Mycelia Studio Steward. This space has undergone many transformations since I first renovated it from a densely packed storage closet back in February 2024. Initially, I envisioned it as an ASMR-inspired Mycelial Massage bodywork studio, but as new opportunities emerged—including a tattoo apprenticeship at Feral Tattoo and a new job—I found myself shifting focus and pausing my bodywork practice.
Despite these changes, I knew I didn’t want to give up this space. After exploring different possibilities, practicing one idea to another, I finally landed on something that feels truly aligned: a dedicated art studio. I moved in all my art supplies- turns out, I had quite a lot! And have been thriving in this creative environment ever since. To make the space even more sustainable and collaborative, I’m looking for two art mates to share this space!
Currently, I work primarily with plaster, creating sculptures and functional art like lampshades and shelving. I also occasionally record episodes of my podcast, Big Psych Myc, in the studio. My passion for crafting and DIY projects has led me to accumulate a wealth of art materials, which I’d love to share with like-minded creatives.
I’m excited to connect, collaborate, and continue evolving this space together. Let’s create something beautiful!
